Thank you, Dr. Hendricks, for your contribution to the CJC department, faculty, staff, and students. When you arrived, the place had approx. 5 faculty and a skeleton of an internship program. The exponential growth/development of CJC @ BSU didn't just "happen". It took vision/ability to build/lead a team. Many benefited/continue to benefit. Thanks!

Hendricks is the most insane professor in the WORLD. He never wants to listen to other people's comments and is always cutting people off. Not to mention his grading scale is HORRIFIC!!! DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!

This guy makes me so mad. All he does is talk about how awesome he is because he has a harley and he was in Vietnam. 90% of the time he is talking about his achievements or something that's is bothering him or on his mind. The most negative person I have ever met in my 20 years of life. Has nothing good to say about anything.

One of my favorite professors so far! He's class is not boring at all just don't take offense to the jokes he cracks. Maybe read the book about twice and I got an A. All you need is good notes and go to the study sessions!!!

He is very simple professor. All you need to do it take ample amound of notes, turn your term paper in on time, and go to study sessions. If you cannot get an A in his class you should think about dropping out of the cjc major/minor.

Sure he had his jerk moments but for the most part he's an awesome teacher and makes the class easy, he moves quickly so best bring your laptop to class to take note but he tells you exactly what he wants and is willing to help if you ask for it. So just do exactly what he says and you should be fine and get a few epic stories out of it.

Don't listen to others. Fantastic prof, listen, read the book and go to class. Easy A. He knows his stuff, but seems to offend people when he is joking. Grow up or you will never make it in the crim just field.

dR.hENDRICKS WAS THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE HAD. hE MAY HAVE BEEN A LITLE CRAZY AT TIMES BUT HE TELLS THINGS HOW THEY ARE. FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES IN ANYTHING HE ASKS YOU TO DO AND ULL DO FINE IN THE CLASS.

Pretty cool guy, knows his stuff, on random days he'll take attendance if he thinks a bunch of people are skipping.. his stories are funny and intro to policing was not that hard of a class, read the book and goto his TA's meetings before the test and you'll do fine on the tests

Experience speaks: I had a Hendricks class some 25 years ago. Yep, he made me think. Yep, he challenged me. And, yep, he's has been an ally, not only during BA, but also over the past 2 decades: reference letters, scholarhsip recommendations,advisor, it goes on and on. ALWAYS available to support. You will not find a more loyal advocate. Period.

Jimmy has a really bad attitude but it's kinda funny just listening to him and not being the brunt of his anger. If you READ the book, you will do fine. But seriously forget even taking notes. READ you'll do poorly on the exams. And don't ask stupid questions in class. He'll eat you alive.
