I took Dr. Langford for BIO130 in summer 1 and it was great! He is a great professor and explains concepts very well. We only had exams and our final grade was just those exams averaged. Dr. Langford is also very helpful during office hours if you have any questions.

Comment:

if you don't understand the material beforehand, there's probably no way you'll understand the lecture when he elaborates on topics in class. The material is overwhelming but very fascinating. He gives you 75 minutes for a MC, fill in the blank, short answer test. His questions seem to be polarized though to certain topics sometimes

Langford is awesome. He delivers the content in a way that is understandable and applicable. There are only 4 tests, so it is important to start off strong. The 4 tests are the only grading criteria, and there is no extra credit. Study powerpoints and listen to the podcasts he provides, and an A is attainable.

Dr. Langford was an amazing lecture professor. He made lectures insanely interesting and kept the class engadging. You do have to work for the grade you get. If you do not study you will fail.

Dr. Langford is a very caring professor. He makes difficult topics easier to digest, and he's willing to give extra help when needed. It's a difficult course, but Dr. Langford made it a memorable one. There's only four tests and no other grades. We only had one extra credit opportunity at the end. Study hard, and you will do well. Good luck!

Langford is a great professor and an even better person. Although his class is difficult, he presents the material that's easy to understand and is always willing to help. He's super willing to meet with you during office hours and give advice. As a bonus, he posts all of his lectures online. I'd recommend Langford to anyone taking A&P. Study hard!

He is an amazing guy and really tries to compare things to stuff we can understand but the material was just very hard for me. He is very caring and tries to help as much as he can. There are 4 test overall with no lab and I made one mistake on a test and that is why I didn't make the grade I wanted. Listen in lecture and print out the powerpoints.

GREAT teacher. One of the smartest, most educationally adept people I've ever met. Four tests, no homework, absolutely no curve or extra credit. YOU MUST STUDY CONSISTENTLY. Cramming for this class will strip you of an A in a hurry. Lecture Guides that he makes are perfect, live by them.

He is a really good teacher and he knows what he is talking about, if you are really interested in learning material take his class not an easy class but its's worth it, will prepare you for other bio classes. There is no homework in this class only 4 test. All notes are online. Plus he's really nice to look at.

Amazing teacher. Hard class though. I had to drop because I allowed myself to get behind in studying. Not a hard teacher but his requires alot of time and energy. Drawback: you're only graded on your four test.

One of the best teachers at SFA. Keeps things interesting. Lot of material but everything is online, NOT hard to make an A or B if you learn the material. Very helpful. Explains things in ways that are understandable. Overall Awesome teacher.

This class was one of the hardest I have taken...and I'm a Biochem. major. With that said, I took it in the summer and Dr. Langford made everything easier than most of the professors here. You won't get by without studying. Cramming also doesn't work if you want an A.
