Absolutely the worst mistake I have ever done was taking her Organic Chemistry class. Her class is stationary, no motion, no fun or interaction. She uses overhead which may make u fall asleep. She does not care about her students' understanding at all, you can walk in to her office for some advise or help, but do not be optimistic, useless!!!!!!!

Prof Lansinger can definitely be monotonous at times, but overall she is a great professor. Orgo is not meant to be easy, but she does tons and tons of practice problems to make sure you are prepared for the tests. She usually goes over problems that are similar to the ones on the exams. Do the hw, do her practice problems, and you should be fine!

Difficult material; do not expect to do well without attending lectures & doing a LOT of work outside of class. Lectures are fast-paced and grades are entirely based on exams, which are hard, but she gives (some) partial credit and is a fair grader. You either know it or you don't.

Professor Lansinger can be monotone at times but she is very smart and knows how to teach her subject. she tries to lay out all the information for you in a cohesive way but there is a lot of material so there's only so much she can do but overall she does a fantastic job for what she has to work with. Her tests are fair but you need to understand.

Professor Lansinger is a great Professor for lab, She lets you know exactly what she wants and she'll help you through every step of the way as long as you ask her don't wait for her to come to you. Her labs are fairly easy as long as you do all the readings but you have to know exactly whats going on. Her practicals are based primarily on concepts

I had Lansinger for Orgo II. Her lectures are a little stiff but she's a great professor to have. Tests are not that hard and she's pretty generous about partial credit. Very nice lady who wants you to do well. Make an effort and do all the homework problems and you should be good.

Professor Lansinger for Lab was really good she was easy to understand and she told you exactly what she wanted however if you don't do the lab reports perfectly she can grade harshly I have never been more scared to write on a piece of paper in case I got something wrong. and her practicals are killers especially the first one. READ EVERYTHING!

Professor Lansinger is a pretty good teacher I think she takes things slowly and her tsts were fairly easy if you knew the material. However she would sometimes confuse the class with her 3-D analysis of things which if you didn't understand in the first place you wouldn't understand when she explained it. Overall Simple class just pay attention.

I took her first time for Orgo 2. I am really impressed. true that she doesn't go into details but do the assigned H.W. and study the in class problems. That are more than enough to get an A. There will be 5/6 damn easy surprise pop quizzes during the semester to help student add points to their exams. But they are given at the end of the class!

Good professor. Go to class, take notes, understand the example problems, and you will be fine for the exam. Do the assigned homework problems, and practice. It's not supposed to be easy, it's orgo. But study, and you'll be fine.

Makes no attempt at trying to make her students understand the material.. You have to know it before you take this course. We're not machines lady we dont learn by just listening to you read off of some slides you didnt even make.... Thats literally all she does.. no interactions with the students. no emotion.. no communication. no nothing.

Excellent lab instructor but there is no way someone could get an A in her lecture without previous Orgo experience. She does not teach, and I'm not kidding! She says "you should know that already, look at this at home, etc." Do NOT take her for lecture unless this is your 2nd time around.

She doesn go into a lot of details and yes on first day she skimmed through 2 chapters, I was taking chemistry after gap of 2 years, it was really hard to grasp her style. THE CLASS IS BORING and THE TEXTBOOK USED IS USELESS. I also belief that most good comments were written by herself. she is not a GOOD INSTRUCTOR dont take her.

Professor Lansinger is one of the best lab prof's I've taken. There are 2 exams and both are pretty easy if you do the labs. She is a very fair grader and helps you with anything you need. On tests she tries to give you most credit possible if wrong. Lab is always mandatory but you can make up labs in another class is missed. Take her for easy A.

I felt lost in her class.. the first day of organic chemistry, she skimmed through 2 chapters. she doesnt go into a lot of details & expect students to figure out themselves. Class is definetly boring.. I am so sure now after taking her class that most of good comments were written by herself.. I think chemistry is really fun but not with her..

I got a B- in her class by studying myself. She doesn't use the board much. Her class is stationary, no motion, fun or anything. She uses overhead which may make u fall asleep. N she's from Orgo department n ain't good at teaching physical chemistry.:((

Peace all!okay this lady is nice, she helps you but the thing is, she is actually from organic department. May be that is the reason she doesn't teach 121 nicely. She often used to say that she is more into orgo and doesn't like physical chem. Many times she doesn't answers your questions. She uses over head which is a lullaby really..

Highly recommended. I wish she was teaching Orgo 2. She's a very nice, approachable softspoken lady. Exams are straightforward. To get a B, do all the homework listed on the syllabus. To get an A+, do ALL the homework problems at the end of each chapter, not just the ones she assigned.

I took her in summer 2008. She is very helpful in a way that if ask her any questions she will have an answer for you right away. She has a bit boring powerpoint slides but its ok they will help you! her exams are not to easy not to hard. As long you do the homework you will be fine for the exams. They contain mulitple choice and mainly open-ended.
