I never had to work so hard for an A in a communications class before, and this is the third one I've taken at various schools. The teacher is a little dry, and takes some getting used to. There are a lot of assignments and they are not necessarily hard, but you do have to work for your grade. My gripe is that her grading seemed very subjective.

Prof Alampi as a good professor. The material of the class is dry, and assignments are rather boring, but they do help you to become more business oriented. I would recommend her if you have to take a communications class. It wasn't very hard and wasn't very easy at the same time. Type of class where you get what you put into it.

In this class you will get a lot of assignments, 3 presentations and a Business Report. It really scared me at first so I would recommend you to take your time on this assignments and start doing them ahead of time. Otherwise you'll go nuts

Janet will scare the pants off you in the begining with all of the assignments. But you shouldn't get overwhelmed because they are well spread out throughout the semester. She's kind of borring but it isn't her fault, it is the subject matter. Overall, she was good.

Class seems a bit grammar focused but she gets the point across that business writing is very important! Offers better grades for going to the writing center, will review your paper for you millions of times and help you write your resume whether you are still taking her class or not. Take her criticism with a grain of salt-she means well.

This class requires alot of effort. The workload is large, but do-able. She's a journalist and tends to be EXTREMELY critical on grading assignments. Assignments are vaguely described. However, she's alway available to answer questions and guide you through assignments. Lectures are boring.

Good teacher. Will help you. Two presentations which are pretty easy. In the beginning the workload seems like a lot, but if you take it one step at a time (don't wait till the last minute), you'll do fine. In the end she asks what YOU think you should get in the class.

Great teacher! The work load may seem like a lot but it's really not. Grades very fairly. One exam, 2 presentations and no final! A few assignments too like a memo, letter, abstract and portfolio. Let's you get a higher grade on assignments by going to writing center. Recommended!
