Comment:

Not that difficult. HW is outrageous. No matter how many questions you answer correctly, you will receive it out of 10 points. Don't buy textbook, just the binder. Lecture is boring, but really helpful just to follow along. Strict rules according to cell phones. Let you use one or two printer paper size cheat sheet for test and quiz. Ask questions

Comment:

Too be honest this class is not that difficult. She gives extra credit on tests and you get a cheat sheet that is really helpful in getting good grades on the tests. My main issue is the sheer amount of hw she gives and how it's difficult to ask questions about the hw. She doesn't check the email question system on the hw website and long lectures.

Do not take her. She's very fair in terms of grading (1 quiz is taken off your score) however it doesn't matter since you're likely to fail all 6 quizes from her terrible teaching methods. She has no study guides (She links to a seperate teacher who does have study guides for exams only) and gives a single hour of time to prep you for the final.

Comment:

Very clear about what she does/does not want on quizzes and tests. Unless you already know the material, I highly recommend coming to every class. Allows a page of notes front & back for each quiz and test, 2 pgs for the final. The material is a little difficult, but what you cover during lectures is EXACTLY what's on the test. Bit sassy at times.

She's REALY FAIR. TREATS EVERYONE EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. WHICH IS GOOD BUT makes it REALLY DIFFICULT IF YOU HAVE STRONG LEARNING DISABILITIES. She goes way too fast, assigns too much homework and there's always quizzes! A day after you learn the material, there's a quiz. If you have a learning disability join MPS for STATS! Don't take this professor

Forced us to use a binder that if tried to use outside of class would be meaningless since key formulas would be left blank to fill in as a class. Go to class, pay attention, and sit up front. If you can take another teacher go for them. I'm exceptionally good at math and love it but this teacher has genuinely made the process difficult.

I wish I came here first and read everyone's posts. I would not recommend this teacher. I really had to work for the B that I got. I felt that it should've been at least a B+ or an A-. I had weekends where I was in confinement just working on the online homework that took me literally all day and still had to do her worksheets. Avoid her classes

Took this class only for credit! The beginning was bearable but as weeks went on, skipping class became more and more of an option. Tests are alright but expect homework for both online and on paper. Quizzes are harder than exams! But she gives many chances to drop certain scores for hw/quizzes/exams. 13 online hw, 6 quizzes, 4 exams.

Do not take if you can avoid. I am good at math and still had to study SO HARD for this class. She is sassy and can be mean. Will take off points even if you misspell. VERY PARTICULAR GRADER. Allows one paper cheat sheet on test. Thats the only way I got A. But took me hours to even make one. Online hw is longggg. Really have to work for this

I wish I would have come here first before entering her class. I dropped class. She goes way to fast and even with tutoring, she was not a great instructor. First day of school class was over flowed second week of school less than 10 students. I dropped as well.

She is really a nice lady, and her teaching way is so clear. She uses one book that includes all materials in this class provided by her. At the begging of every class, she asks to turn in a paper or papers. That's not that hard. Whenever I go to her office during office hour, she helped me and really cared about me. Try hard, then you can get an A

Nice lady. Don't have your cell phone out. Fast paced class. She seems very busy with other classes so she will refer you to the tutoring center but she has never turned me away during office hours or after class. Don't miss class. No excuses for missing a test,quiz,midterm,final, etc. Don't even try. Even with a doctor's note.

Yes, she's tough, but she really did seem to care about her students. She goes over a lot of material because it's a short course, and she really tries to get it all in. We went over a lot of questions in class to help prepare us, and I did really well because of her help. She made it easy to understand. She also gave extra credit to help our grade

She is pretty much of the professor who would fly through, and the textbook is not used but you still have it. You also have the notes that she assigns, and sometimes her homework is not clear in my perspective view. I wouldn't recommend taking her unless either you are a calculus student, or you can take the risk.

Book is free online. Her lectures are too fast and very confusing. Also, she is not clear "IF" she wants to answer your questions. Her packet can be helpful to understand the course. On the syllabus she gives you websites to previous tests & quizzes, if you study them you'll do fine on her quizzes, midterms & final. Overall? I wouldn't take her...

Horrible Teacher! She flies through everything. Nobody in class understands anything. More then half the class dropped and half of the rest left failed. She could care less about her students. She always says after her lectures " do you understand?" Everybody says no and she says good and keeps going.. DONT TAKE HER CLASS

She is very helpful. Willing to assist me in understanding this very difficult subject. I have struggled with math for a long time. In high school I barely passed algebra. I haven't taken a math class for more than 20 years so I appreciate having some one with the patience to guide me step by step.

Comment:

She offers unhelpful comments, confuses students, and has a condescending tone. This was basically a self-teach class for me so you can get an A if you read the sections, do the WebAssign homework, finish all the worksheets, and attend every class. Do NOT take if you do not have a printer, four cartridges of ink, and 200 pieces of printer paper.
