Professor Stapley was a pretty good professor. She lectures but all of the powerpoint are up online so I just looked at them before tests. Exams were pretty normal, no curveballs and if you study you'll get a good grade on them. She insists on getting the textbook, but I never looked at it and I was fine. Take her!

I took Stapley for Career Prep and absolutely regretted it. I barely showed up because every time I went to class, she gave me another reason to hate being a psychology major. She made me feel like being a psych major is the worst decision in the world, and it has now made me uneasy about my future. Do not take her, especially for this class!

Dr. Stapley is a nice lady, but for some reason I just could not adapt to her teaching style. You really do have to read to keep up with what she says in class. Her tests and awkwardly phrased which makes them a little difficult. But she only assigns a paper or two and only wants a few paragraphs each. Very passionate about the subject matter.

Dr. Stapley is one of those professors who seeks to inspire you and get you thinking from a different perspective. She sincerely cares about her students' well-being and success, and is very enthusiastic about what she teaches. Even though qual. is a lot of writing, Dr. S is always willing to help and it WILL prepare you well for writing in APA.

Dr. Stapley was great..she goes right off the powerpoint and what she emphasizes in class. Pay attention to that & attend as many classes as possible and you'll get a good grade...participate! She makes Psychology fun and she's really enthusiastic about it. Take her class, you can't go wrong.

Kinda crazy. You can literally see her jumping from thought to thought, and it can be confusing. Just pay attention to what she emphasizes in class and read the powerpoints for the tests!

I attended every class, did every assignment, went to extra help, and extra credit and at the end of the semester when my grade was a 79.5, she wouldn't boost it up to a B even though I clearly cared. Not a fan. Her class stressed me out a lot

One word...AWESOME! I love Dr. Stapley and all of the guidance that she gives with one of the harder classes in the psych major. She is always available to help and responds to email questions in a timely manner. She has a great sense of humor and is very laid back. Take her...you won't regret it!

dr. stapley is really cool. the material is very interesting in ed/py 204, and she's a good person to be teaching it. there's about 3 tests and a decent amount of really easy assignments that help your grade. she also offers a lot of extra credit. definitely take her.

Dr. Stapley was one of the best professors I have ever had. She went over everything in detail and gave lots of examples. All the tests are 50 multiple choice and very simple. Just do the writing assignments to the best of your ability; she is not that difficult of a grader. She also checks her email and writes back right away. Great Professor!!

Dr. Stapley is a nice lady who really loves what she teaches. Some of her assingments are pointless that she really only checks once but makes it seem way more important that it really was. Her tests are not that bad. If you see her during her office hours she will clear anything up for you and is really easy to talk to. I would take her again.

use common sense to figure out her test questions and you'll be fine and take notes in your own words. Shes rather boring and not too helpful when it comes to questions via email but she claims she teaches like this for a reason, so her students can "learn more". I wouldn't say avoid her but try to get someone else if you can.
