If you take a class with Jeanine be prepared to write! I'm a first-year student and Jeanine made my first semester so much better. She's such a kind person, I always looked forward to attending her class, and I actually liked the homework! Also she always had snacks so 10/10. I'm taking an 8 AM next semester because I like her so much.

Awesome teacher who cares about her students. She let us pick their own topics so that we were doing projects we were interested in. You have to read stuff and write a paper for just about every class, but it's worth the effort.

She is fantastic and after every major paper cancels class in favor of independent meetings with each student. She tells you exactly whats going on with your grades and writing. Found myself planning to spend an hour or more in each meeting instead of the 15 min time slot!

Awesome course! Janine's classes involve a lot of discussion, but she's very open to hearing everyone's ideas. She treats her students as equals, and tries to keep the course focused on skills that will actually be useful in our lives.

She is somewhat difficult to follow in terms of expectations and grading, but she is honestly a wonderful person. One time somebody said they did not want to go to class, that we should just walk in the graveyard because it was such a great day. She agreed and we walked around the graveyard all day :D
