Naz is the man. His dedication to helping students understand calculus is something you won't find in many professors at SUNY ESF. He has high expectations of students, especially in Engineering Programs. He is always available outside of class and will help clarify any questions you have - there will be some-. Really fun teacher, beware of the multiple choice questions though. Go to test files and look at the previous years multiple choice and they don't change much at all. I didn't realize this until taking calc 3 and I consistently got them wrong.

Like most people prior to attending a class with Dr. Abdel-Aziz, I was not interested in mathematics. Dr. Abdel-Aziz has a spark of creativity when teaching, and there is no such thing as a boring lecture with him. He speaks English better than most Americans (I think he's from Egypt) and makes sure no student is left behind. Teaches Calc I & II.

Great teacher. Speaks excellent English with near perfect grammar unlike many foreign teachers. Teaches in a manner which makes it fun to learn. Very funny man would recommend you have him as a teacher. PS. The man loves donut holes from dunkin donuts so bring some to clas for fun.
