She's very stand-offish and doesn't seem interested in helping students after class. She runs out and if you try to talk to her she just keeps walking. She didn't teach any of the basics that this course was meant to teach. And the course as she taught it was mostly useless busy work.

Comment:

Material can be dry but she helps to make it interesting by adding stories of her own experiences. Tests are straighforward and mostly from the lectures. Some test questions are taken from the text, but reading is not essential as long as you go to class. Very nice women.

Great teacher. Teaches for long stretches, but lets you out early. Tests are not hard, MC + case study. Does videos in class and talks about her own experience so class is more interesting. Offers 3+ ways/options to get +10 extra points so you can screw up and still do well. As others have posted she is also hot = easy to pay attention.

yeah she talks a lot and there are a lot of notes, but there are some cool videos, assignments and tests are pretty easy, don't really need the book, she tells funny stories about her experiences in the field, doesn't really have much of an attendance policy, bottom line is janine is smokin hot, i'd take her even if she taught advanced metaphysics

I don't know what those last few posts were about. I took the class Spring 2005, and those comments are a mystery. Her classes are really early or really late in the day, so if you can't handle extremes, don't take it. She's awesome, she encourages class discussion and sharing our experiences with the class, shared her professional experiences, brought in a moving speaker, and is straightforward. Buy the books and take notes because you'll want to keep them after class is over. You'll like the stuff.
