Dr. Holt is an incredible mathematician. He is very clear in his explanations and he is extremely helpful if you make an effort to see him outside of class. He is also a terrific human being who dedicates the vast majority of his time to his subject and his students. Greatest math professor I have ever had. Get to know him outside of class.

He is a very confusing teacher. When teaching he mkaes it harder than it is, leaving you more confused then when you started. Often you have to teach yourself. Also his tests are harder than the material he teaches in class. I would not recommend him.

He is HOT, and very smart, ask for help afterclass, he isnt usually in his office. Act interested and try, linear alg is an abstract course and so you do need to study and do the homework even though he doesnt take it up. Go to class and try, good teacher

AVOID this indtructor at all cost!! He is the worst teacher I have had in 6 semesters. He's always late and half asleep when he gets to class, does not know the course material and never comes to class prepared - half the time he has to borrow a book from somebody to teach the class.

Pretty pathetic guy. Cant explain - AT ALL. Always late - always looks like he just rolled out of bed with his messy hair and wrinkled shirt... Can often times not even figure out the homework or tests that he assigned, and is never available for help. Returns tests about 4 weeks after taken :(

Very kind, real smart, helpful and absolutely gorgious. Really sexy for a math prof. A lot of girls fall in love with him. Whenever he looked at me my heart stopped. The stuff is hard to learn but he's an angel.
