He is the best professor at Ithaca. He is smart, funny and very knowledgeable and helpful. I learned so much in his class. He made the work meaningful yet, because of his great sense of humor and nice manner, I was not intimidated by the assignments. My advice to any student -- take J. class gets annoying and boring but isnt too bad. photocopying essays for class editing is a b**ch. other than that, it doesnt require too much from students, 3 essays a semester, some reading, and some assignments/hw questions on the readings.
