Comment:

Doesn't always articulate concepts super well, but does take the time to rephrase and re-hash until you've really got it down. Very well organized, and the homework is great prep for the exams. Pretty accessible outside of class. The graduate version of a combined section course is only moderately more difficult, only one extra project.

Death by power point. Hardest part about the class is staying awake. Explains things fairly well, but doesn't even attempt to engage the class. Easy "A" class thanks to formula packet provided on exams, but definitely a snoozer.

Jave does pretty easy to follow lectures, gives note packets you can use on tests, and allows a lot of in class extra credit. I would take his class over Math 360. If you have to wait until another semester, I would do so. Totally worth it.

He teaches incredibly slow. It is hard to pay attention, though you really don't need to. Easy A class but the boredom might kill you. He shows every single step multiple times including basic algebra and even how to calculate slope. He acts like you're 5 and he needs to tell you everything. Don't take him if the class is a pre-req for another!

Good teacher but teaches really slow. Slow paced class and lectures were dull. But he's nice and makes the class easy. He hands out extra credit to those who actually attend class (not very many since he's slow).

Easy class, even if you don't really understand the subject matter, you can still get an A. He hands out extra credit like it's candy. His lectures are dull and be ready for typos in the equations he gives you.

Easy A as long as you attend class, notes are almost like reading greek(sometimes literally) if you dont go to class. book is pretty much useless except for homework problems. i'd recommend to anyone, and take a class of his again.

This was the easiest A I've gotten in a math class at WSU. He gives really easy ec problems that go directly to your test grade and his homework is about five questions per week, all of which you can google if you're stuck. The homework was a handout and he gives good notes, so you don't actually need the book. Lectures are very monotone, though.

Professor Pascual made the statistics material very understandable and relateable to real world applications. Much better than any alternative from what I have heard from my friends who have had stats with other teachers

He has a very funny, easy going personality. Weekly assignment. He's very helpful and gives out extra credit opportunities more than any other teacher I've had so far. Attendance is important because you'll need the notes. I only ever opened my book for homework so if you take it with a friend, I'd recommend sharing. Great teacher, great class!

Best teacher I have ever had. Very clear on what he expects for exams and homework. He gives lots of hints on homework and goes over the material very thoroughly in class making it very easy to understand. He is also extremely nice and always willing to help and answer questions.

He made this class extremely easy by going over exactly what was going to be on the exam and also alowing *many* sheets of notes. If you attend class every day and take good notes, it's not hard at all to get a score >100%!
