You must attend all classes if you have any hope of a good grade. Quizzes are weekly and he grades very particularly as it's all essay and he apparently has a specific answer in mind. If he doesn't like you wording- minus points. But if you can manage to do well enough on the quizzes, you don't have to take the final and get an A for the class.

This professor taught really interestingly. The only huge problem with this class was the grading system. I took Psych 101 over the summer in a 4 week session. That was the worst nightmare ever. We had tests every week for 4 weeks. There were 5 tests and he simply totalled up all 5 of them! No average, no extra credit. It was AWEFUL!

Ditto on those quizes...failed most because he wanted specific word for word answers from lecture and questions where chosen for quizes from a list of 10-13 for essay answers!! cringed with entire class before each friday!!!

Also had Dr. Moore for Learning and Motivation Theories. DO NOT TAKE! Very hard quizzes every week and if you do poorly on as little as 2 of the 11 quizzes in the class, you're screwed. Grade based on cumulative point totals. He takes off for spelling as well! Had to drop.
