Jay is definitely one of my favorite professors at Delta. He tells you everything that will be on the exams, all the labs are very enjoyable and lectures are pretty interesting as well.

Jay was one of my favorite professors I have ever had. He made the class enjoyable and would joke around and tell us stories about himself that related to the material and also got things done. Tests are not too difficult if you know the material fairly well. Labs in class and some you might have to finish for homework.

At first I wasn't sure if I'd like Jay, but he ended up being one of my favorite professors at Delta. The class was very easy, so I'd recommend if you don't like science. I share his interests in outdoor activities, so it was fun talking to him after class. Genuinely nice guy who doesn't make you feel like an idiot for asking a question.

Jay used most of the three hours given to talk and review course material but not in a boring way. He strays off topic A LOT but you learn something from it. Paying attention is what I pay most of my grade credit to. He discusses material so well you almost dont need the book but I used it for visual aids and any studying that I didnt really do...

He's a good instructor and he knows how to teach, his interest in science really shows too. Some of the tests are hard, but it all depends on how well you know the material. When coming to class, be prepared to learn something new in an entincing way! I would highly reccomend him to anyone!

There aren't even words that can explain how AWESOME Jay is! He is very smart and knows a lot about everything. This was the easiest class I have ever taken. His tests and projects are almost too easy! He is funny, helpful, and VERY outgoing. I wish he taught more BIO... Take Jay, you will be very happy you did.

I absolutely LOVED having him for a biology teacher. He knows what he's talking about, and makes sure everyone understands also. Labs were fun, and he related everything to real life, which made the class A LOT easier! I would HIGHLY recommend him as a professor.

Awesome Teacher! Keeps your intrest and loves what he teaches! He can be easily taken off course though...Keeps you into labs and explains the tests very well. Take him for sure!
