Dr. Weinstein is one of the most intelligent, nice, and helpful professors on EMU's campus. This man will seriously go out of his way to help you. I had him for a graduate level class, and it made me wish I discovered him during my undergrad years.

I had prof Weinstein for soc theory and statistics. Especially for someone who is interest in the subject being taught Weinstein is a great fit; he really knows his stuff and makes it interesting. Also, his style is casual and he seems approachable, which I appreciate.

I had him for Social and Cultural Change. He is an amazing lecturer and even though he wrote the book for the class he still adds a lot of supplementary information. No test, but mutliple, long papers, but it still not hard because he gives you more than enough material in class to write on it. I highly recommend him.
