Don't take it online thinking it will be a blow off. Homework is due every Sunday, there is a lot of work you will spend time on this class. He is an amazing teacher and enjoys what he does. He'll help you out in any way possible. You meet once a month&he always gets you out of class ASAP. TAKE HIM if you're going into communications or english!!

Comment:

The class was fairly easy but the amount of homework is ridiculous. The homework assigned is due every two days and you will be doing 13-20 paragraphs of responses. Lit classes assign essays shorter than that in 2 weeks. Also homework has some stupid 2 hour videos that you have to watch so youll be wasting 4-5 hours on homework every two days.

Jeff is an excellent professor! He has a great sense of humor, very down to earth!!! He wants you to succeed and grow. I took SPE101 - Online during the Summer, he made sure we had all of the tools to progress, i.e. viewing online TED Talks, Audio Videos from him providing guidance and instruction.

The summer online SPE101 class was a lot of work, but nice to only have to meet 4 times. Jeff gives you a clear outline of what he expects and tells you up front that this class is hard in this modality. If you put the work into the speeches, you will do well. He grades fairly. The text is inexpensive and easy to read.

I recommend taking this class if you are Polish. He is Polish and proud of it and favors his polish students. He is a good teacher but he is occasionally passive aggressive towards students who are not Polish.

I took the combined on-line class with several class meetings required to deliver speeches. Professor Przybylo is always available and willing to answer your questions and help you out. The directions of what is expected are very clear and easy to follow on-line. If you are willing to complete the work and put forth some effort you'll do great.

I took Jeffs speech 101 class online & as long as you do all the work, thoroughly read the assigned chapters, & put some time into your work & of course show up to do your speech once a month, you'll be in good shape. I don't think this class is difficult, it's just very time consuming. Lots of busy work for an online class. Great teacher though.

Took the speech class that was part online part in-class. While it was a lot of work, it was manageable and not super difficult. Really enjoyed this prof. 10/10 would recommend.

First off, surprisingly not a tough grader for an honors speech class. He knows that being nervous during a speech is given and grades fairly. I learned a lot from Jeff, not only about speech giving but also life lessons that I can take with me outside of class. I can definitely say that I am less anxious about giving speeches. Highly recommend!

I took this class online, the amount of coursework is pretty heavy for a speech 101 class. Jeff is a good teacher & knows a lot about speech/communication, but doesn't quite understands that other people aren't as comfortable speaking as he is. He was a little harsh at the end of some of our classes & it made us feel more anxious.

Jeff is an outstanding teacher. He helped me with my anxiety when it comes to speaking in front of people and helped me become a better writer as well. He cares a lot about each person and wants the best. His feedback is very helpful and his work is easy and straight-forward. I would 100% recommend this teacher for ANY class he has. Amazing guy!!!

Mr. Przybylo is one of the best teachers at Harper. He gives great feedback to make sure you have everything you need to give a good speech. You will need the book for quizzes and it gives great tips to become a good speaker. I would take his class again for sure.

Jeff is awesome!! He genuinely cares and wants you succeed. It is not an "easy pass" class. You need you need to work for it, but none of the work is wasted! Every assignment is built and meant to benefit you & help you become a better speaker! I am super shy and introverted & Jeff helped make this class for me and helped me be a confident speaker

Jeff is an outstanding teacher!! I took this online, so we only met 4 times to give speeches. It was a very easy and straight forward course and he's so laid back. He gives amazing feedback and really cares about his students. He helped my anxiety go down and I've become better at speaking. I'm taking more classes with him in the fall! Take him!!

Jeff is the absolute best! If you have public speaking anxiety, he will help you overcome your fear tremendously. The work is very reasonable and fair, and I enjoyed the majority of the activities assigned. Speeches were a BREEZE. Really learned a lot, not just about speech, but life in general from this class with Jeff. 10/10 recommend :)
