Tamplin is by far my favorite professor at UNI. He does an amazing job, I didn't even get the best grade that I wanted but he gives you everything that you might need to be successful in that class. The lab is a bit more challenging, but Tamplin offers extra credit oppourtunities to help accomplish your grade goals.

Jeff is the best professor I have ever had in my college career. He's one of the smartest and most dedicated professors I have ever met. His lectures are always interesting thanks to the work he puts into his powerpoints; his sense of humor is the icing on the cake. If you attend lecture, you're set. However, the lab is kind of hard (memorization).

Jeff is easily one of my favorite professors at UNI. He gave the best lectures because they were informative, but enjoyable. His tests are straight off the slides and he gives a bunch of extra credit to boost grades! He has a lot of trick questions on his test though so make sure you actually know the material or youll get confused

Dr. Tamplin is the BEST biology professor at UNI! He truly cares about his students and his passion for teaching shows. He cares more about the students' getting an A or B then the students themselves. This course requires you to memorize a lot, especially for lab, so if you take the time to do that little by little each day, you should be good!

Jeff is an amazing and funny professor who knows his stuff! The info is easy to understand but the class requires a lot of studying. Lecture exams are all multiple choice, true/false, and matching. They only contain info taken directly from the lectures and he doesn't try to trick you. If you put in the time and actually study, you'll do well.

Tamplin is a good choice if you have to take Organismal Diversity. However the course itself is A LOT of memorization, especially the lab portion. There is a lot of content, but the content isn't hard to understand. Be prepared to spend hours memorizing information.

Jeff is an awesome lecture professor. If you get the chance to have him be your lab professor as well, absolutely take it. He cares so much about the success of his students and it shows. The class still takes a lot of hard work when studying for exams, but Jeff definitely helps you out. Also makes things more fun with lots of dad jokes. Great guy.

Jeff is my favorite professor at UNI. I feel very lucky that I was able to take all three classes that he teaches. His lectures are interesting and relate able. All of his tests are extremely fair but you have to put in the study time. The best part about Jeff is that he respects you and is willing to explain anything that's confusing

Tamplin has definitly been one of my favorite professors at UNI so far. I took him for OD lab. He's very funny & really caring. If you have questions, he'll answer them no hesitation. The assignment's he gives out are completed in class with your group (easy). His quizzes, tests, and practicals are a little difficult but that's just every OD class.

Jeff is an amazing professor, he makes lectures enjoyable, starts of every class with a video, you actually wont to be there. He wont post any lectures online, so make sure to show up to class, but he does have everything else needed on class. Definitely my top favorite professors. Plus turtles are amazing. Also, no reading.

OD is definitely a tough class. The one problem I have with Jeff is it seems like he says don't worry about these details they won't be on the test, and then he puts them on the test. With that being said, he is one of the easiest science professors you will find. Study hard and you probably won't get an A, but you can make it out with a B.

This guy is awesome. Really great teacher who is extremely knowledgeable and wants the best for his students. Tests are definitely not easy and there is usually a large amount of material on each. If you take the lab, PREPARE YOUR BODY, purely memorization that you will fail unless you study hard and early. Didn't use the textbook for either.

Jeff is amazing! Basically all of his lectures were straightforward, powerpoints. If you show up to class and take notes on the slides, you'll be guaranteed to know every detail on the tests. He makes lecture fun by cracking jokes and offers extra credit often. You will NOT need to use the textbook... ever.

Jeff is a really good professor, however the material is hard to learn and memorize. He seems to enjoy the class and always starts with a 2 minute video that has nothing to do with the class; but is a great break. If you take the lab portion in addition, be prepared to study a LOT before any test. Had a free online textbook, but it wasn't necessary
