One of the smartest men I've met. Funny and pleasant. Speaks nice and slow so unless you are daydreaming you won't miss a thing. Handouts and course website are organized well.

I enjoyed this term of history, Prof. Stokes makes it entertaining, and I learnt a lot. My only complaint would be his "Which composer does this example sound like?" questions on tests which were extremely subjective.
