The content of the course, though painfully boring at times is so incredibly useful for future work that it's worth sticking through. However, I have never found it harder to get involved in a lecture that with this Professor - she gave off an air of haughtiness from the start which I found very difficult to deal with when asking for assistance.

She's tough as hell, but what she teaches is invaluable. At first I couldn't stand her--thought she deliberately made it difficult and she isn't the easiest person to talk to; however, she knows her stuff. Many LIS students will say her courses are invaluable. These undergrads sound more interested in taking a slacker course than actually learning.

I graduate this year and as of my entire university career... Jennifer Noon is the worst prof I have ever had. One word sums her up... monotone.

An exceptional prof who sets the bar high for others, extremely well organized and prepared for class; a bit intimidating at first, but super kind if you go to her for help; genuinely wants students to succeed and helps them do it; superior teaching strategies, clarity, and she draws from professional experience - this lady KNOWS what she is doing!

Great Professor. She knows her stuff and teaches one of the most interesting courses at western. She may make the classes difficult but it's worth it in the end.

Her teaching style is unbearably dry. I stopped going to classes because I couldn't stand it. The course would have been extremely useful to me but I couldn't get passed how bloody boring it was. I would definitely steer clear of her if you can help it.

Well prepared and knowledgable but dislikes interruptions and is unable to ad lib. Readings and assignments are tough but she will help you with them if you have done enough groundwork to ask intelligent questions.

Not only is this class already boring, but she makes it even worse. Maybe if she spent less time on her lecture slides and useless cartoons, i would be able to sit through the class. Bad prof. bad class. enough said. watch out for any kind of test in that class...difficult.

She seemed nice, but boring. Too boring if you ask me... who cares about looking at sources... this woman loved looking at the smalled details. I didn't even understand what she wanted for the reaseach assignment. Everything was poorly explained.

this is one of those classes where you keep looking at the clock wondering when it's going to be over. prof. noon is an absolutely horrid public speaker, and that along with dry content makes for one of the worst classes at western.
