Comment:
There is only 3 tests and 1 assignment. The tests aren't hard if you study the slides and read the textbook. Tests are based off the textbook so if you read all the modules you will do great. Jim is super nice and is really helpful. One of my fav profs. Really recommend this course.

3 tests and 1 assignment, tests are extremely difficult. no feedback for anything. very kind and understanding. lectures are super boring. make sure you do the readings, tests are based on lectures and readings. tests are mainly applying your knowledge of the concepts so you really need to know what you're talking about.

Jim seems like a great guy, but teaching summer courses is not something I would say he is good at. The lecture is 3 hours long and unfortunately Jim did not keep my attention once, I ended up just reading the textbook in class while he was teaching because I felt like I learned more that way. He needs to be more engaging.

Jim Cameron is funny, down to earth, and easy to get along with. He doesn't make you feel like an idiot for asking questions and is willing to clarify/explain things if you ask. Lectures were good but at times the material was a little dry. There is a big group project but it was pretty fun. Would definitely take more classes with this professor!

Comment:
2350 is a mandatory course and Prof Cameron is a funny guy, but doesn't really 'lecture'. He discusses already made slides and has you complete online Aplia assignments that aren't that related to topics covered in lecture. It's an easy course as he doesn't expect much, just read the textbook/ practice the math on your own time

Jim Cameron was a nightmare. His lack of preparation was insulting. Used stock slides from the book, constantly made theoretic and calculation errors in class. Used stock assignments from the text book, testing us on material that he indicated we would never need to know. He may be a nice guy, but he had no idea how to teach. Read the book. Avoid!

Uses presentations that come with the textbook (often wrong equations, changed in class), had online assignments that came with textbook that never paralleled what we actually did in class, worst prof I ever had. His nervous tick is laughing too... Doesn't help.

He has a hard time trying to explain the material to the class and made a lot of calculation errors on the board which made his answers seem unreliable. I mostly relied on the textbook a lot which I thought was a good textbook for explaining concepts. Very sweet guy though and is accommodating to students.

He is not a bad prof, the class is delivered in an easy way. If you find it easy, do not make this apparent as he does not like intelligent slackers, I learned this the hard way.

Easy course, mostly common sense. Cameron is the man though! Incredibly nice guy, quirky. Easy marker, doesn't try and make things hard for you. More than willing to answer any questions you have. Just an amazing guy and a good prof. I recommend him and this course.

Terrible prof., doesn't really explain things well, although his course was easy. Going to class didn't matter other than for tests. Read the book if you wish, but all of his notes were posted online.

I've taken two classes (Group Dynamics, Social Behavior) with Cameron and gotten excellent grades with little effort. Hes got a hilarious laugh but the material can get dry at times. Papers are easy, full marks. First professor who likes things straight to the point. You have only have to go to class for the video in group dyamics, all notes posted

I really him and the course material. He was really boring though. I think he would benefit from a public speaking class just to improve his shyness. But besides that he was really great! Really easy class if your looking for something to boost your GPA.

A very nice and genuine guy. The class seemed more commen sense, though he still made it very interesting. Easy to get a good mark in as long as you study. do the online tests from the text book(some questions WILL be on the tests so you'll already know the answers :P)

Cameron is awsome! He's really helpful, nice, funny laugh and very approachable if you have a problem. I took Social Behaviour with him, loved it! The text was easy to read, class was very casual.. I could miss a few classes and still understand what was going on because he put he notes on the P drive. I would love to take another class with him!

Easy prof, Tests were simple as long as you read the notes that were posted on the P drive. 3000 level course that was more like a 1st year class. Great prof, very smart. highly recommended

Nicest Prof you'll ever have. Know his stuff and seems to love to teach. Off topic, but he's also a really good guitar player and plays in a local band called The Sorrys.
