Students don't like him simply because he expects a lot from them. He does not baby students like a lot of teachers at curry do. He understands that we will one day be in a real world and he simply wants to make sure we are ready. If you try hard he will respect and help you. I've learn so much in his class.

Had him as an advisor and he is AWFUL. He's the least helpful person of all time and quite a jerk. He'll be rude to you and won't care. He's a nasty old man...I don't know anybody that likes him. Run far away. He ruins the curry business program.

I didnt have him as a professor but as an advisor. He was an absolute nightmare. My first year at the school I wanted to meet with him to go over what I needed to take when and he was too busy playing on his computer and shoved a book aat me and told me just to pick classes. Intimidating and arrogant indeed.
