One of my best professors at UVA. explains materials so clear that there is almost no need to read the textbook. Definitely recommend attending to classes because it will save you a whole lot of time after class.

"I don't like teaching lower level classes." -Dugan That sums up the amount of time she spent preparing lectures and tests/ exams. In an average week, she only spends half the time teaching. The other time is spent wasted because she is not prepared for lecture. Go to class, but expect to feel like your time is wasted.
