Lots of lectures, tests are essay tests. Quizzes are based off the reading and are kinda tricky. Best way to study for tests is to write out the responses the night before

I had Anzalotti for one semester and when I say his class is HARD, I'm not kidding. Quizzes are based solely on textbook readings, and tests are based solely off note SUMMARIES in class. Make sure you write and study everything, otherwise, you probably won't pass. I studied for 6 hours once with a friend and got a C. If that gives you an idea.

one of the best professors at WNE! easy A class as long as you show up and take notes on his lectures. quizzes every week but are easy as long as you read and sometimes he just decides not to give you them and gives you an easy 100! no essays and few tests. no final or midterm!

By far one of the best history professors out there! Has helped out the entire class on quizzes and tests. Gives you answers to questions on quizzes that don't make sense. Have to appreciate his fine collection of crew-neck sweaters!

If you're great at memorization, this class is for you. If you can't memorize 10 topics word for word like myself, this class is one of the worst. Class is you listening to him talk, there's no participation grade/opportunities, & then you're expected to memorize all 10 topics for 2 measly exam questions. Awful grading system & even worse attitude.

He is a horrible teacher. He lectures the entire class and you write down the notes. He has quizzes on the textbook every Friday, which are hard even if you read. The tests are two of the essay questions from the notes, and unless you can memorize the outlines verbatim for the test, you will not do well.

Pretends to be intimidating but really knows a lot about his subject. Class is literally copying notes he projects through powerpoints. Tests require you to take the notes point-for-point and turn them into an essay. Extra knowledge won't help if it wasn't covered in class, but you're given all possible test questions in advance.

Sit in class, take notes, listen to him read the notes and that's the whole class. He doesn't know anyone's name but he can be pretty funny at times. He also gave a ton of extra credit just because.

Attendance was only required for tests, quizzes, and movies. Make sure you copy the lecture notes exactly, or you have no chance on tests. Tests require you to replay all of the notes exactly, in paragraph form. Quizzes were on the textbook, 100% independent of the lectures.

He's an easy teacher if you have an knack for history. He's kinda boring, old, funny when he drinks water. Basically i should have gotten a higher grade but didn't. I blame it on his outdated/weird knowledge on WW1. I think i know more than him. HE SAID IT WAS A MYSTERY WHY WW1 STARTED. WEAPON RACE. ASSASSIN. POWER STRUGGLE. LOTS OF NOTES HOLY GOD

Man pretends to be intimidating but he really knows a lot about what he is talking about. He wants to help and makes that class so easy. You just have to copy outlines from the projector and he gives you all possible questions in advance. Quizzes are every Friday and straight from a short text in the book. Attendance isn't mandatory but is useful.

His class is easy if you really apply yourself. It's a lot of note taking and lectures but when it comes to the tests, all you have to do is literally memorize his notes that he gives you and you'll get 100%.

Terrible professor, if for some reason you end up taking his class reading absolutely manditory for his quizzes and sometimes it doesn't help, Exams are only what his slides were on in class, insert your own thought and you will fail. Half of my class dropped after the first exam because they did not have this advise.

Take notes all class and listen to him lecture about them, very dry and boring. attendance is not mandatory and doesnt know anybodys name. For tests you have to memorize notes, and nothing else is accepted; elaborating or adding outside information is frowned upon. I would avoid him, worst teacher ive ever had

Thought it was a great class until the first exam. He makes you memorize tons of notes and will not take anything else for an answer . Any explaining or drawing conclusions is frowned upon. No homework, no quizzes, only tests. He's angry a lot, and every now and again he will crack a joke. Would not recommend this professor.

This guy is awful, do not take his class! He's a miserable man that tends to be angry all the time. You take notes you have to memorize word for word for tests, and he mumbles when he talks. You take quizzes that are hard, based off reading in the book that he never talks about. He doesn't care, won't help you. Don't do his class.

attendance isnt mandatory, im sure he still doesnt even know my name, seems to be angry but can be nice. you take notes off of a slide for exams, then read out of the book for quizzes, so you learn two things at once. his grading system is really wierd, lose random number of points for too much detail, you could be right and get q's wrong
