DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU'RE NOT PASSIONATE ABOUT ART!!!! Cino is a very nice person, but such a tough grader and expects so much from you IN A 100 LEVEL CLASS! He assigns readings every week with quizzes and wants so much in a paper. his class is very lecture heavy and you're pretty much on your own for the most part. WOULD NEVER TAKE HIM AGAIN

I had more work in this class than I did in my major classes. He expected you to be an art enthusiast and would get angry if you didnt have anything to say during the lecture. There are readings assigned for every class and quizzes that go along with it. You had 3 papers for a level 100 course!!!!! NOT NECESSARY DO NOT TAKE HIM.

If you don't like art do not take him! He forgets he is a level 100 teacher. Homework twice a week, 4 essays, you are required to go art museums. He is arrogant and only cares about his opinions and gets mad when you don't agree with him.

Professor Cino is the best..!! you should not underestimate the class. It might overwhelm you at first but it is super easy if you do your work.. 3 papers he will show you how to do it.. don't be afraid !!! I was too but positive. He is willing to help you not matter what!!!

He's harsh on papers, but doesn't give a lot of feedback. Make sure you participate. He often complains about the class being unwilling to engage in the lectures, even though he only likes to hear opinions similar to his own! Still, he means well and knows a lot about his subject. Do the reading and you'll be fine.

He's very passionate about art but he expects you to be equally passionate if not more. There's a lot of homework but his tests are fairly easy. I wouldn't recommend taking him if your not into art. If you do take him, don't take him as an early class. He also trips out if you the class doesn't participate so try and speak up as much as you can.

He is rude and makes people feel stupid if you don't know art like he does. Its his way and his way only. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!! He makes you buy a textbook you never read in class, because everything is online. Stay away from him and his class!

He gives A LOT of work. And most of it is unnecessary and used for his own ego. His tests are all about memorization and extremely hard as well. If you need a class for this credit, I highly suggest you take something else, unless you enjoy stressing and lots of work.

Interesting class. He is dry in lecture, but I like the fact that he challenges students to observe art in a different way. His project assignments are easy and the test are easy to. Just do the reading and take notes during lecture you'll do great on the tests.

He is very into art, however he expects you to know every minor detail from the textbook. He is more into making you memorize things than having you actually learn. His tests are ridiculous and he is a harsh grader. If you want an A, I would not take this class, unless this is the only class you are taking and you can dedicate every moment to it.

horrible professor. never agrees with your interpretation and never lets students leave early. his tests are HARD. he requires an essay written after a trip to the Met, which can be very inconvenient to students who don't have much money or free time. he thinks his class is the most important and students should stop everything for him.

i had mr cinco for art as communications -___- and hated every second of it. it was a misserable 3 hours of my life, i had to resort to the jingle of my keys to hint to the classmates we must leave. he NEVER lets you out early, and he might still mess up your name on the last day of class. stayyyy awayyyy

I took him for Art as Communication and had a semi-difficult time. Two art projects which were okay but his midterm and final are what killed me. He gave us a paper on the Metropolitan and a paper regarding a gallery which were easy. He rarely agrees with your opinion about the artwork, even though it is up for interpretation.
