Love Geary, but he's so old and you're probably better reading the textbooks than listening to his lectures. He lectures by just going through the textbook and summarizing everything.

Sweet old man, he knows what he is talking about, but doesn't really know how to translate that to the class. He lectures out of the book every class; don't take notes, nothing he says is on the test. Go to class the day before a test and he will most likely go over questions that are on the test. If you read the book it'll help, but its hard read.

He understands nothing about what he teaches and uses his position as a teacher to lecture about his misogynistic and outdated views on the practices of youth. Avoid his class if you value your time.

This man knows absolutely nothing. While he is a nice guy he is an awful professor. He knows very little about the material he teachers and even confuses simple terms. Although he requires you to come to class don't bother listening. Its better to just use class time to read the book. It does more for you than he does.

Worst professor I've ever taken. Seems like a nice old man but he does not know how to teach. No point in listening because he talks about things that aren't on the exam at all. There better be extra credit for perfect attendance bc no point in class. Simply wait for his study guide. Its more or less the test. Also he forgets to give it out often.

The only good thing about this class is that there's no homework. Geary is a nice old man but his lectures are old fashioned and boring. Bring a laptop to class because theres no way you can copy all the notes by hand in time. There are only 4 tests to make up your entire grade. Go to class, you get extra credit at the end if you miss less than 2.

Lectures are boring and come straight from the text book. This wouldn't bother me if I didn't feel that the professor wasn't easily reachable. He will not respond to emails.

His lectures are disorganized and boring but will boost your final grade in the class significantly if you miss 2 or fewer classes. Final grade based on average of four 50 question exams (he curved all of them 8-10%). All I did to ace all of his exams are study the outlines he posts before the exams, but they were still challenging.

This was probably the worst class I've had so far at ASU. Absolutely awful. Don't get me wrong, Geary is a sweet man but his lectures are boring and very hard to understand. It took everything in me to keep from falling asleep each day. He doesn't post grades so you never know what you have in the class. Doesn't use technology period. Just awful

Really easy class. All you have to do is show up and take notes from the board. No notes online except study guides and only 3 test but they were all super easy. For real all you need to do is study for like 2 hours the night before and you're fine

John Geary is your average grandfather. He is such a nice guy. The class is pretty straight forward with 4 tests. He is a super fair grader and if the majority of the class gets it wrong he'll usually give you credit. Take him. No homework and minimal studying will get you that A.

He is a great teacher with a sense of humor. Yes, sometimes the lectures are long and boring, but other times it is interesting. Take notes in class, read the book an study. Example situations are good to review. Tests aren't that hard but there is a lot of information that you cover and need to know.

The guy is awesome, one of my favorite professors I've had at App. Just embrace the fact that he's a stereotypical old man and you'll enjoy it! Go to class, copy all the notes, and study them the night before the test and you'll do great.

Don't listen to a word he says or any notes he puts up for you. It does not help. To do well on tests you have to read the textbook. Tests are very hard so he curves them. The class is only 4 non cumulative tests. He is a an old man and his class is very boring. He takes attendance and if you go most of the classes he will bump your grade a little.

His lectures are incredibly dry and often don't cover half of what he tests on. The only way to pass this class is to read the chapters thoroughly and teach yourself all the information. Nice man, but really poor teaching who is very set in his own ways. Doesn't supply many study materials or aid.

Showing up for class is a must. This isn't a class you can just expect to pass unless you already know about Business Law. His lectures were notes he puts up during class. He babbles a lot but just copy the notes and don't listen to him. Bring your goggles because you will be squinting at his notes the whole time (unless he changes this). Test 50q

Most boring class ever. Attendance is mandatory but his classes are pointless. He is a rambling grandpa so it's impossible to take notes off of what he says.
