This is a great class. If you are at all interested in a basic introduction the the general art forms, take it. You get free tickets to huge events on campus but have to write about them. Good TA's and pretty easy A. Thanks for a great experience.

i don't know what you all are talking about, this class was awesome and all the lectures were great. true, Jenkins wasn't all that available, but his demeanor was lovely & if you sought him out, you could get great info. he is interested and passionate and the lectures are fun. problems i found were not with the teacher but w/ the immature students

Don't go to lecture it's the worst thing ever. If you go to any of them go to the very last one because it's on the final. You have to go to the shows and discussion. I got an A in the class because I went to discussion and the shows and totally b.s'd the paper. Easy

He never teaches the lecture, just introduces guests who lecture the students. You never really have to attend lecture, but you need the sheets handed out. Papers are assigned every week, but it is mostly opinion. You have to attend a lot of performances. It wastes your time, but is an easy gen ed.
