This teacher drives me insane. Way too many tests, treats the class as if you are majoring in the subject. Expects you to be there on time all the time. Sometimes holds you over the 3 hr class period. Is boring, and plays favorites with the young pretty girls. Would not recommend.

Get ready for a mind numbing experience! I couldn?t take it? dropped the class ½ way through. Clap the beats, tap along?. Are you kidding me? If you have no musical ?band? experience like myself ~ Good luck with this class. I thought we were in college here; my mistake. 3 hours of this guy becoming frustrated with our inept tapping. Good Times.

Blah blah blah. This class is boring 3 hours long and nothing fun. He gets very angry and biased towards certain people. As long as you come to class and don't leave early he will like you. Tests are harder than they need to be and he uses a messed up grading scale.

His tests are easy but I recommend not taking the one class per week because he is teaching all 3 hours with little breaks. you dont use the book often, he gives yout he notes in class and he is boring. If you like music, go for it, specially the romantic or classical era, if not, stay out or you will be bored.

All you listen to is classical and orchestra music, and that is so boring! the class seems like it lasts forever, and I think the tests were hard. YOU DO NOT NEED THE BOOK, DONT BUY IT! Unless your REALLY into music from Beethoven and Bach and stuff, this is a boring and hard class to follow.

Very hard, you don't really have to read the book, just know your instruments and what family they belong to. Come to class or he gets mean. Study and you can do OK. He cuts you NO slack at all though and I got a 3.5.
