Comment:

Understood nothing in AP Physics in high school, but Trammell teaches things clearly and I understood much more than I did in high school physics. Usually spends the lecture before a test going over practice problems. Physics department test graders are pretty poor, but you can go to her to get the points you deserve. Do the webassign for practice.

Comment:

Dr. Trammell is by far my favorite professor at UNCC. I would say so far, but it is a high bar to beat. Her lectures are well-paced and clear. She really cares about her students and is always willing to answer questions and help with homework. I am taking her for modern physics and the material on its own is not easy, but she makes it easy.

Great at explaining concepts. Tries to ensure all students are prepared for the tests and has good visuals on her powerpoints. As long as you take notes and read a little from the book you should be fine.

Great professor, I would definitely recommend her. Text book is not used much, but is nice to look through for tests. Explanations are great, uses Powerpoints for notes. She also likes to use the IRS remotes for daily grades, so easy part of your grade right there

She is very intelligent about her astronomy and obviously knows her stuff. She presents the information well and gives good explanations. I wouldn't say the class is easy just because the material sometimes has some more difficult concepts, but she is very fair and does not try to trick you. She is very patient with questions. Absolutely recommend

One of the easiest classes i have ever taken. take the notes, listen to her explain it and read your notes a couple times a week, it takes about 15 mins each time and you can get an A. Easiest class ever if u just pay attention while she talks

I had her for Astronomy. It was actually kind of interesting. The online homework is the hardest parts. Study the notes and you'll get an easy B. Dr. Trammel is very clear and explains things well with her power point presentations.If you have to take a science for your major, take Astr with her! Easiest compared to the others, and interesting!

i really liked this class. she had throrough slides during lectures, and used helpful examples to make it even clearer. Her tests are fairly easy as long as you study. Great professor, i would definitely recommend her!

Ok class is extremely boring, if you manage to stay awake and take notes you'll do fine. Tests are multiple choice so if you read over your notes and study the guides she gives you and you'll get at least a B.

Be prepared to study your butt off. 3 tests, first two are 30% of your grade (each) final is worth 40%. There is a curve but mainly because people do miserably on the tests. I studied a lot and pulled a C (with a curve). Might want to start a study group.

She is an aweful teacher, I don't know how anyone could like her. Her tests are really hard. When you try to meet with her during her office hours you have to wait around forever for her and she is not helpful at all. Do NOT take her!!!
