I thought he was very knowledgeable and good at answering questions. Make sure u do ur hw. I always got the most out of class when I did mine. Not the type of class where u can not pay attention and then study really hard for the tests. correct your hws and understand the right way to address every prob so u dont lose dumb points on the test.

Alright, it's official: John Paul is awful. I thought he was ok, and I was getting an A in his class until he arbitrarily hacked several percentage points off of my participation and final after the professor reviews. He gives out low, arbitrary grades but won't change them for the world.

Avoid at all costs. Possibly the worst prof Ive ever had. Accounting is easy to me so his tests wernt bad, but his teaching style is intolerable. He gets irritated when you ask questions. Loves to take any chance at lowering your grade. Makes you feel idiotic whenever your wrong. You have to mostly teach yourself and all he does is go over hw.

Paul is an awesome prof. I'm not even an acct major but he explained everything so well I totally understood it. If you do the hw and go to class you can definitely handle his tests. He also give you all his old tests and if you go to his office hrs he'll basically re-teach you any material you didnt understand. Kind of tough, but great professor.

Absolutely awful. He may be a decent teacher, however, he is a complete jerk. He is not very understanding, especially when it comes to grading policies. If you are not an accounting major, DO NOT TAKE HIM. I would never recommend this class to any of my friends.

acct 152 with jack paul is the worst class i have ever taken no joke. i took people for granted when they said dont take him but i had no other choice as everything else was booked. no, listen: wait for another semester and get another teacher, THATS HOW BAD PAUL IS! this is the spr09 semes and im 2 lectures in and i dropped him already. very hard!

One of the best professors I've had at Lehigh, he knows how to teach the material very effectively. He strictly expects everyone to always be attentive in class with their homework prepared, but if you do so each class he will ensure that you really learn the subject. Also, it's not hard to perform well because he posts so many past exams online.

One of the most horrible human beings I have ever met in my entire life. He is demeaning, and honestly enjoys humiliating his students in front of the entire class. Also, something is wrong when you have to curve all of your exams 24 points. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.
