John Reid is a great professor. He is always entertaining and does his best to keep you interested. He is always available for help and gives you points where he can. I hated math before and not I feel more confident about it. I would recommend... but believe he is retiring.

John is awesome! I srtuggled with math throughout highschool and thought i was going to fail stats! It ended up being my best mark. John makes it really easy to understand, and when he's marking he will you you points wherever he can! his students really are his main interest and it shows!

John Reid is so passionate about math and it shows in his teachings. As someone who has always had troubles with math, I was dreading this class from the beginning. But John, with his quirky sense of humour and all-around adorable geekiness, was so good at teaching that I ended that class with a mark much higher than I expected. Thanks John!

this guy is a great guy. very helpful, and he actually cares if his students do well in his class. everything he says about the work is true. The final is hard but if you go to class every day and listen you will do good on it. and make sure you do the practice exams in the back of the lab book.

I was a horrible Math student in High School and petrified by the notion of taking Statistics. Dr. Reid is so INSPIRED by what he's doing that you can't help but be at least mildly interested. He really can't understand why everyone isn't as electified by math as he is. His energy and enthusiasm are contagios. Very helpful. Very patient.A+prof
