Definitely a class where the course material will get covered in class. Her accent is quite strong and hard to understand at times but don't hesitate to ask her to repeat. She's very lecture heavy, and if you miss one class you have to be caught up by the next class to ensure you're not lost. But overall a great teacher for such a hard course

Very lecture-heavy. Most classes are pretty boring, and she isn't really the best at answering questions.

She does not prepare you for anything. Not for your Midterm and not for the exam. She didn't even have a help session for her students they were forced to go to the other teachers class. She gets angry at people for taking notes and doesn't involve the class in her discussions. She is unbearably boring and repeats the same phrases every class. Bad.

She's a hard marker but she really knows her stuff. Her accent makes her hard to understand at times but she's winning to explain what she's teaching when her students don't understand the material. Theres a lot to learn so she does everything she can to help her students

She is a very nice and approachable prof. I really enjoy her lectures though they are not easy to understand and kinda boring esp. when I was sleepy. But Nargess makes the materials easier to understand by giving different examples. Go to her classes and do all the assignments, they are really helpful. Any questions, talk to Nargess. She will help.

She is a brilliant woman and really knows what she's talking about. The class is extremely difficult and you can't miss a class if you want a good grade. If you need help, she is extremely willing. However, she doesn't always udnerstand the questions being asked.

A very quiet talker, but I understood her. Its an incredibly boring and hard subject to teach, so I think she does a pretty good job of it. Never went to SI (time conflicts), understood it fairly well. She's a tough marker, but very helpful. She misunderstand often, though. I'd suggest taking a class with someone else, before one with her.

I did not like her first year Macro-economics class, but I found her much better in this more intermediate class. The class was smaller, making it easier to hear her, she is very approachable; And very nice as well!

Good teacher and knows what she is talking about but the class couldn't get any boring if it tried. Half the time she doesn't understand the questions that are being asked, and if you miss even two classes you can lose 5%, and sometimes she is hard to understand. If possible I would avoid this teacher! its the longest 75 mins of your life.

She is not a very good professor. She didn't understand the questions people were asking most of the time, and it was difficult to understand what she was saying sometimes. Attendance is mandatory, and she takes it each class, miss two or more and you lose 5% of your mark. I really hated the class, it felt like the longest 75 minutes ever.

She is actually a great teacher but this subject is very hard to teach. The tests are very fair if you prepare yourself and for the love of god go to the SI sessions. In 1101 she went over two chapeters in one week right before the exam. So technically you have to teach your self. GOOD LUCk

Ugh, where to start... This is a tough subject to begin with, so should you find yourself getting a little behind, make sure to check out SI, that's the only reason I passed this course. Dr. Kayhani is hard to understand at times, but she is very nice, however, unfair.

Nice person. Very helpful if you have a question. But she makes quizes very confusing. There are way too many questions in these quizes. Often boring. However, midterms and finals are fair.
