Frankin takes teaching beyond basic business textbook lessons/exams. He provides a class that makes us better business *people*, not just a simple manager. It's up to the class to make/break it. JFR is also a prof that goes the extra mile for his students. He us all as equal, becoming a mentor and friend. A great prof.

Franklin is very passionate about teaching and has a high regard for his students. Franklin mentors his students by incorporating his life experiences into his lessons. With his unique teaching style, Franklin challenges his students to go beyond merely the curriculum required. It was a pleasure to have been taught by one of Laurier’s finest.

Franklin is one of the best I had. He triggers your interest through his thought provoking questions while at the same time being receptive for your ideas. If the primary objective of the program is to coach us not only to perform well in our academic standings but also to produce socially balanced individuals then he is doing his job very well.

Franklin was really disappointing overall. The classes were a great forum for interaction and conversation, however they sometimes seemed more about feeding his ego than actual learning in class. He quickly establishes favourites, and if you're not into his 'schtick' you're out of luck. Sadly in the end, I felt degraded and maniuplated.

Why teach when you can get your students to "present" for an entire semester Franklin. Learned nothing save for the fact that it is possible for people to lose touch with their self-perception. FR could persuade 1/2 the class to drink poison kool-aid from a paper cup though - strange stuff
