Although his monotone is a hindrance, Donohue possesses a fervent dedication to his subject matter. He is articulate and well-versed in the subject matter. The large lecture hall format of the class was a setback(and the timeslot did not compliment Donohue's drone), but I learned quite a bit.

I hate this man with an unrivaled passion. He is very intelligent, but also arrogant, obnoxious, and unwilling to help students in need. He is biased towards student athletes, so if you are one, I would not reccomend taking his courses.

gives good feedback, approachable, knowledgable, insightful. lectures can move slowly, he's poignant on a good day but can put you to sleep with digressions on an off day. certainly reccommended, but come well-rested just in case.

I absolutely loved this man! He is extremely passionate about the material he teaches. Brilliant, kind and dedicated. One of the best professors I've had at UMass.
