He is a great professor. He makes the lectures interesting, but he does go at a pretty slow pace. He is funny and likes to joke and interact with the students in his class. He is very helpful and he is always willing to help you out. You get to drop one of the first 4 tests and the final was not comprehensive.

This was honestly the best class I have taken! Dr. Hendricks makes learning Ecology fun and relatable. His test can be a little tricky, but as long as you attend class, listen, and study your notes, you will do fine.I definitely recommend taking him.

Dr. Hendricks is AMAZING!! He is so kind,thoughtful, and he really cares about his students. He makes Ecology so fun and interesting. You will really love him. You do not need a textbook, but you need to go to class. DO NOT skip class if you want an A. Sometimes he will give hints about what is on the test that is not in the notes so go to class !!

Great professor that wants you to learn. He explains topics thoroughly. You have to go to class because he doesn't post powerpoints. His tests are straight from the powerpoints. He always provides test review and answers any questions. His tests have strangely worded questions, so you need to know the material. Study and you'll do fine.

Hendricks is the gem of the Biology department. He is caring and thoughtful. I really appreciated his passion for ecology. His test are straight forward and the textbook is free. His lectures are interesting even if you know nothing about ecology. He takes time to make sure you understand. I took him two semesters ago and he still remembers my name

Dr. Hendricks was the best professor I had during my time at West Georgia... hands down! His lectures are easy to follow, the test material comes straight from what he teaches, and he doesn't make you buy a book (saves you $$$). I'd take Hendricks for every class if he could teach them all.

I took him for Wildlife Ecology and he is the best professor in the Biology Department. He goes above and beyond to help you understand, very friendly. No textbook, just straight notes! Study hard for the tree review in lab and do the lab reports. He likes to talk ALOT but he is a wonderful guy and great teacher! :)

Professor Hendricks was amazing!!!! When he taught plants in biological diversity his notes were crystal clear and he even told the class what to write and what not to write. He made learning about plants fun and engaging!! If you dont understand something he is more than happy to help you succeed in the class. I definitely recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Hendricks is one of the best teachers in the biology department. Dr. penco is finally getting some competition. He will do his best to help you understand the material. his exams are very tricky but if you study you can past. love his stories, it makes the class more interested. Hendricks is a great teacher. His tests are not that bad if you study. Attendance is mandatory b/c his notes are not availible online. Yet if you are a few minutes late he will let you go back and get them at the end of class. Review all handouts he gives you. Lab is a lil boring especially at 8:00 in the morning.

Dr.HEndricks loves what he does but.. his tests are very tricky. HE will use answer choices like "two of the above" be sure to read the answer choices carefully b/c they are worded kind of funky. Attendance is mandatory only if you want the notes he doesnt post online. Review all figures he gives you! Lab is very boring, he talks forever. Nice guy!

Enjoyed the class very much--it was a breeze. The lab lectures were quite boring but the class was always interesting. His tests are challenging but A's are possible. Dr. Hendricks is cute and has a personality to match--and it's hard to find a smart bio teacher with a personality!
