He hands out pretyped notes at the start of every class. I wouldn't even call them notes - just the words from the book in bullet points. Reads every, single, word. Doesn't give concrete examples of anything he reads. He struggles through examples, then just copies the answer on the board. He repeats this process every week for four months.

Fair enough? No, not fair enough. Thank God Man. Acctg is all math and easy. Pistone's notes are terrible. He just writes whats in the text for 3 hours. Explains nothing. Just read the text and don't even go to class since he like never takes attendance. If you do that you'll get an A. His classes hinder the learning process. Fair enough?

if you can teach yourself accounting, take him, he will be a joke. if you are like me and you actually need to be taught, STAY AWAY. this guy stands up there all class and reads what is on the overhead slides he puts up. he does that and talk about how his wife drives him crazy, thats it. i did not learn a thing in this class because he cant teach

He's a nice, funny guy. Always willing to help, but isn't a very good teacher. He usually only uses slides and you learn nothing unless you teach yourself the material first. Thinks he's taught you everything you need for the final, but I suggest you study your butt off. Second midterm is a take home luckily! Takes attendance.

Accounting is not an easy subject and this prof. does an excellent job making it easier on his students. He gave take home exams and the biggest exam curves I've ever seen. He's also pretty humorous for an accounting prof.

the worst professor at fordham. does not know how to teach if his life depended on it. uses the most irrelevant stories as examples in class. does not prepare you for the midterms or finals at all. he needs to stick to his day job.

Good class, nice teacher...always willing to help students whether it was staying late after class or via e-mail.One of the nicest teacher's at Fordham!2 tests and take-home final-always gave curve.B or better for most students. hardly ever collected homework and often took attendance. Recommended!
