Great professor. Very organized- you will have 3 tests during the semester, and one homework assignment a week. Very concise, and you will know exactly what will be on the exams. It is imperative that you attend every class, as each class is filled with new material. You may not miss any homework, either.

economics is the type of class where the tests and homework arent going to vary very much from prof to prof, either you get the info and do well or the opposite. i really enjoyed ju chin, she was available outside of class, tests are hard and heavy workload but that is expected . she kept class mildly interesting and taught me in a way i understood

While she is very enthusiastic about the subject matter, Professor Huang is simply not a great teacher to take a class with. Her tests are extremely difficult, the homework is graded harshly, and the class is made up of very few grades. I do not look forward to her classes and would recommend taking another class or finding a different professor.

Juchin is definitely tough. It was a hard class overall but her lecture notes were similar to what you need to know for exams. If you miss class definitely get the lecture notes. Homeworks are not as similar to her exams as she says but the study guide is almost to a T so use that and if you study hard and pay attention you wont do terrible.

JC is undoubtedly the HARDEST professor that I have faced. As a former CEPS student I found this class much harder. She's a nice woman who is really enthusiastic about teaching the class which is great. However her homeworks don't really prep you for the exams as well as she thinks they do. Good person, teacher? Not so much.

She was very clear and very fair. She doesn't accept late work. If you have difficulty, she is very willing to help you clear things up. Do the work and you'll have no trouble.

At no point in this class could I possibly sum up the energy to pay attention JC. Often found myself dozing off while she just went over a huge packet of notes that we already had. She is very hard to understand and grades everything very hard. The exams themselves were impossible. She has yet to learn English but is somehow qualified to teach Econ

actually liked her, the homework questions are often VERY similar to the exam questions. Shes fairly lenient on grading, exams arent that hard (most questions are just tweaked homework questions. Highly recommend her class as it helped me out, just be prepared for A LT of notes

Hard to understand and you have to take too many notes. Most of the homework questions come from material reviewed in class which is helpful but exams are difficult.

JC was a good professor. A lot of people complained that the class was too hard but it really was not bad at all if you went to every class and did the homework like a good student. Every thing on the tests is discussed in class and the text book was everything she said in class and not necessary. JC was extremely enthusiastic about econ.

okay i really like JC. Yes there are a lot of notes and they are all handwritten but she was a good teacher! If you go to her office hours she is very helpful! Her homeworks are harder but they help for the exams. so if you do the homework and pay attention in class you should be fine!

Worst professor I've ever had. Got a D and had to retake it and now I have an A. Took too many notes that weren't helpful at all and had messy handwriting. Homework and exams were impossible.

I am honestly shocked she has such a high rating. She has messy handwriting, makes you take a ton of notes, and sometimes her accent makes her hard to understand. She is useless when you go to her office hours and her exams are IMPOSSIBLE. I like Micro but she made it awful. Don't take her unless you have a lot of time to spend on this class.

She is a very hard teacher and is sort of way too enthuasiastic about Micro Economics. Her tests and homeworks are extremely hard. Even if you study all the material, it is very difficult to receive a high grade on the tests. The only good thing that she offers is that if one does better than lowest grade on a test, the final will be counted twice.

She's really nice and makes jokes during lectures to keep you interested, but her exams are impossible. I've been to her office hours a few times and she isn't very helpful. She doesn't curve or give extra credit, so your grade is 25% homework (also hard) and 75% exams. Nice person, tough teacher.

Her class is all notes, so you don't neccesarily have to go. Just get the notes and study hard from that.. On top of that the reading isn't neccesary. Her exams are tough though and require a lot of studying. Overall she was a great teacher though, I am glad I got her.

Really clear. Only professor I've ever had who actually writes out the notes on the board rather than flipping through power point slides. Uses a lot of examples and makes material easy to grasp and relate. If you go to class, take notes, and do the homework the tests are not bad. I loved her as professor!
