Amazing instructor with lots of hands on knowledge in the world of marketing. You wont feel like you're taking a pointless class, you'll be engaged and you will leave the class with a different understanding of how marketing works. Best teacher I've ever taken. I highly recommend the Saturday class, it's long, but before you know, you're done.

Comment:

Excellent instructor. Dedicated and helpful (he even brought a mic and amp to speak in a whisper when he had laryngitis, rather than disrupt the course with a sub). Tends to repeat himself from time to time, but otherwise very good.

Read the text and listen in class, you will do well. Rich is passionate when he talks which helps to keep interest. One of the rules:A participant can be "voted out" if they are not doing enough work on the group project. Several people were very lazy, distracting and overall nuissances in this class hence the slagging of his character below.

Not good at all. You will hear the same anecdotes several times throughout the course. Each time, the facts change slightly. Several times he told a story and I thought "that's neat! I'm going to look it up", only to find out it was completely wrong, or very stretched. He doesn't give personal attention after class, only directs you to his website

He kept the class pretty interesting. Asking him questions is useless because he just dances around the question and doesn't answer it. We were totally ill prepared for the exams. We were given very little instruction for the exams other than to read the text. I would not recommend taking a class he teaches.

Taking the all day 6 week Saturday class = terrible idea. He talks the entire time, using book examples as his own. Exam comes with the text, lectures are useless, but mandatory. Avoid this class if at all possible.

This man is a nut. He makes every experience his own - with examples. This includes the stories in the text. He has no clue if the slide information can be found in the text. He sure likes his own voice as he answers his own questions. Do not waste your time taking his class. He needs HELP. BCIT must be desperate for babysitters.

Rich is one of the best teach I've ever had through out my academic years. He is super helpful with lots of interesting experiences. He shared some of his very interesting stores with us, and the stores not only helped us understand the concepts that were taught in class, but it also kept us all awake during the long Sat. class in the summer.

Totally enjoyed the course - his fun character certainly added spice to his lectures. Very easy going and will bend backwards to get your questions answered. Study his notes and you'll have no problem in the exams.
