His class was challenging but if you are dedicated to the material like he is you will learn a lot. He is very knowledgeable. Some other reviewers pointed out he sometimes makes mistakes when going through examples, but the examples are complicated and no one is perfect. He will correct the mistakes if you bring them to his attention. Good TAs also

He's everything that's wrong with the tenure system. Every week, a presenter from industry talks; you are expected to submit a paper, transcribed verbatim on the presentation (why?!). No grading criteria, just depends on what his left foot felt like that day. Class used to be a requirement, but is now cancelled for good. What does that tell you?

Where should i begin... Trying to reason with him is like trying to teach a baby calculus. the notes distibuted seemed like they were for an entirely different subject. if you try to point out a mistake on the board and tell him specifically where it is he looks in the imediate opposite direction like he is looking for waldo. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Imagine reviewing an interesting painting in a thousand words and then getting marking off for not having the "ideal" number of consonants in your summary and you reach the level of absurdity of this class. Very little feedback from him. I'm not even sure whether he reads the summaries completely. The presentations were interesting.

Most definitly the worst professor I have had at this university. Thick accent and often talks to the chalk board while writing notes. Do not try to talk to him about partial credit or u may lose more points than initially. Does not seem to know the material and makes mistakes in solving problems absolutely every lecture. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this professor like the plague!!!Extremely unorganized and inconsistent. Syllabus read Spring 2004 for a Fall 2004 class and was never used. Not approachable!He irritates quickly if asked too many questions. I'm not sure if he even knew the material? No website! And he's an Engineer???????????
