Easy pass?? She doesn't actually teach anything, just talks about irrelevant stuff for 1.5 hours. 4 essays, each longer than the rest (1st: 3-4 pages (on a short story from textbook), 2nd: 5-6pages (on a poem from the textbook), 3rd: 8-10pages (Hamlet VS film productions), and 4th: 10+ pages (research paper on Toni Morrison's "Home").

YOU NEED THE BOOK! You will not pass without it. She is so so so sweet - but goes off topic and rambles quite often. She allows you to turn in essays late, super late. But i wouldn't suggest that, it catches up with you! take her for an easy going english class :)

Professor Wallace's class is a fairly easy one. However her class lectures often don't make sense at times and she hardly stays on topic during them. She's an easy grader and is extremely flexible on late essays, and I mean extremely flexible. YOU NEED THE BOOK. Parts of the essays are based off of what you read.

I really like Ms. Wallace. She has liked all of my papers so far and she is really sweet to everyone in the class. She is easy going with late stuff, which is convenient when you are taking a lot of other hard courses. She is my favorite teacher because she is really sweet and does not make anyone in the class feel stupid. She listens to everyone :

don't take her. class lacks structure. she is boring and teaches little. the grading is whacked too. structure is made up of discussions that are boring and pointless most students try and fall asleep...or try to stay awake. and then group time where you waste paper printing a copy for everyone so you can read their garbage along with them! yay!

I had a good time in her class. If you like structure then don't take her class, because it's pretty laid back. You bring in work and it gets critiqued and that's pretty much the class. but show up and write because she'll get you in the end when she gives you an overall grade

I liked Ms Wallace a lot. She is very friendly and supportive. She does very little actual teaching, however. You basically show up and get your assignment and discuss te readings. I had no problems because I have a solid background in writing and she liked my work. If I wasn't as good of a writer, the class could have been extremely difficult.

I've had a difficult time with this class. There's no formal lecture, so no learning about how to Creatively Write. The instructor fills class time with students critiquing one another. It's a cop out, since she doesn't have to teach much. If you don't relate to your classmate, it's a problem.
