I took her for logic this time around and found it incredibly difficult. I don't have an aptitude for math so if you are like me, you will have a difficult time. I wouldn't recommend you 'not take her'. She was just personally, very rude to me. I was attentive, in front of class, asking a lot of questions, not too many and she oozed disdain

If you are a "bro" or one of those WVC bimbos you won't like her. I learned to appreciate her very much despite her giving me an F on an essay for no reason other than disagreeing with her. I still passed the class tho. So if you are serious about school you will walk away with a good grade and a good experience, shes very charming, totally French.

Mostly easy and fun. Her discussions are interesting, mind-boggling, and establish good examples for the material. But, she quickly gets away from the material and into "branches" from the example. This can make it difficult to retain the information, especially if clarification is still needed. But, ultimately tests are open-book/note & easy.

I didn't know what to expect coming in, and it sure was interesting. Although she was VERY easy (those who say she isn't are likely idiots), the class was a little insane. Nice person, but she should consider teaching trig, so she could go off on a tangent and still be within course guidelines.

I find Dr. LaFave to be one of the best teachers at WVC. Those who have trouble usually want easy A's. Her classes are challenging, but Philosophy is foundational and demands the challenge. If I were continuing at WVC, I would take all her classes.
