wonderful teacher, even if i almost flunked her first test (biased multiple choice questions) i was able to back up every answer to her and have gotten As every since. I especially appreciate her terrorism courses, and find she is an easy grader if you make an effort to THINK

There is not doubt that she knows her stuff. She's very entertaining... she nurtures, but is equally strict. You have to work, go to class, participate, but you will never mind it.

I love her. I am not a feminist, nor into africa and the middle east like she was, but she was completely receptive to my concerns. If she sees you're making an effort, she will go up to bat for you. What she taught me helped me in all my other classes.
