TAKE HER Prof. Gehr is the best. You study interesting genres like murder mysteries, fairy tales, and symbols in movies. She grades fair and lets you rewrite a paper at the end

I HATED THIS CLASS! I took honors English all the way through highschool and always made A's. All of my papers for her were B's and one C+. This class made me hate to write! She is very odd and way...WAY out there. Extremely unclear and unstructured. If you are looking for an easy A then go for another professor.

One word that sums up my Prof. Gehr experience? That would be "ehh". I mean, she's got a really oddball sense of humor which does work sometimes, and she'll teach you (and teach you well) little things that'll improve your writing. But on the whole not a very engaging or interesting teacher. She gets the same grade she gave most of my papers: C!

She is very helpful. She encourages class discussion, but doesn’t push. She is extremely intelligent and can go off on the most hilarious tangents! Her class is fun. Also, don't worry about form. To get an A on a paper develop your voice as a writer. Mrs. Gehr has the kind of beauty that moves!

Prof. Gehr is very personable,and i loved listenig to her stories in class. She is a great teacher,and one of the best i've had. She is really serious about thinking outside of the box when it comes to writing your papers. She doesn't grade on punctuation, but on content. Fun, and worth it!!
