Great professor! Accounting is a hard subject that requires you to study a lot outside of class. Along with thoughtful studies and Dr. Moreland's lectures you will do fine. He is a nice guy that is willing to help or answer questions. One of the few profs that actually cares about your success. The accounting faculty in general is very caring.

Dr. Moreland is the BEST teacher U of M has. Go to class do the work and you should have no reason to not get an A in his class. He's just a great guy, loves what he does and wants you to pass just as much (if not more) then you do!!! He is also one of those teachers you will remember even after college.

The material is quite hard, but I still got an A without trying very much. The professor, unfortunately, is not very clear in class. If you stay after and ask him basically the exact same thing, he'll explain a lot better in different terms. Assignments were very easy. Twice he gave one question on the exam that we did not cover in class at all!!!

Professor Moreland was extremely helpful. I don't think I could have made it through the class without his assistance. It really appeared like his main goal was to see the students succeed and I really appreciated that. He was also very approachable and easy to talk to. A GREAT professor!
