Dr Zellars has a very interactive method of teaching. Keeps the class interesting and throws out many real-life scenarios. However there is a lot of readings required before each class & the assignments are real life assignments - very hard and time consuming. Its like doing 1.5 courses.

I despise this class and everything about it. There is a completely absurd amount of information you are required to memorize and regurgitate on a cumulative final. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

My least favorite class so far in the MBA program. I did hear from other members of the class that she was much better in their previous undergrad classes. It seemed like everything was off the cuff and very little was planned.

Dr. Zellars isn?t the best prof at UNCC, so if you have her class: (1) participate frequently, as she does give certain students the benefit of the doubt; (2) study for tests by creating an outline, putting it into bulletpoints, memorize them and be knowledgeable enough to discuss. The aforementioned class punishment did happen, unfortunately.

Tests are ridiculously and unnecessarily hard. Tries to make simple infor. extra complicated. Seems bitter about her past work life. Has a smart, sarcastic snotty attitude most of the time.

Loved this class. I'm not going to lie, it is ALOT of work, but if you are an HR major, you have to take this class. You will learn more than you have learned in any other class. Teaches out of articles. Very helpful. talk to someone who has had her for insight into the tests.

Teaches from articles, not real life experience. Gets upset when students have real experience and big it to the class. I'm pretty sure she's never held a job in HR, hence the multiple HR articles we have to read to get real knowledge.
