Kent's way of teaching ethics has improved this class in a big way. There is no midterm and all the assignments aid in learning the content. His teaching style keeps your interest. He is very approachable and is happy to help students individually. He is also a very positive guy and has a great smile!

Very good and very enthusiastic prof. Used clickers for 10% of the mark to encourage attendance & a midterm & final which were quite straight forward. He always made the class interesting, doing random things to keep the attention. overall a good prof but not very lenient, is not very giving in marks - just plain straight forward; no exceptions.

He is a great prof! Very enthusiastic! I was not at all excited for research methods prior to taking the class, but it wasn't half bad! He definitely does a good job of making boring material somewhat interesting.

He is the best professor at the U of S. He truly wants his students to do well and will do anything to help. His love of learning is contagious. His classes aren't easy, but it's worth it. You'll get good marks if you work for them.

Great class, Great class, actually a really fun class! Although its a lot of work, and especially the manual (o boy), that can kill you. But put in the effort, and A+ will come in easy. Finals was alright, not too hard. Overall, I really enjoyed working with my client! Kent says "i have no problem giving 94% class avg. so this is a mark booster~~!!

Not the most interesting information but he is a good prof - very approachable and helpful. Assignments are marked hardly - so put the time into them and get help if you are unclear about anything. Exams lean towards you applying the information rather than memorizing it.
