not an overly difficult course. for sure better than soil courses (340&342) as long as u do you assignments and work hard, you'll come out of it with a good mark. smart prof, knows what he's talking about. overall, it's a good course. looking forward to civl 455.

Great teacher with enjoyable classes. Clear teaching style with challenging projects and problem sets. Sometimes a hard marker (18% of my class failed fluid mechanics), but overall one of the best. Really busy though, so if you have questions you might have trouble finding him.
