Comment:

Nicest professor who cares so deeply about statistics. Your grade is made up of 3 tests and 2 assignments with some opportunity for extra credit along the way. She explains every topic in depth and is repetitive to help you remember things. Her focus is more on comprehension of the topics rather than calculations. Don't miss review day before exam.

Bui is seriously the sweetest professor I have ever met. She cares so much about her students and even bakes macaroons for us! Her class is super organizes but all her tests are extremely specific so you really have to pay attention during every minute of class and white EVERYTHING down. I mean even examples other students offer during discussions.

Bui is overly enthusiastic.. If you have her at 8 am, her energy level is just overwhelming. The class is pretty easy for a GE math course. However, her lectures are painfully long and boring and she never lets you out early.

The material is not difficult to understand, the tests do not reflect learning in the class. There were 4 tests covering about 4 chapters, very detailed questions were asked so reading is a must. She puts lecture material on the tests. Would not recommend for an intro course.

She is very condescending. Her tests do not test how well you know the material rather how good you are at memorizing the textbook. She puts very specific and irrelevant questions on the test. If you do the readings, you are lucky to get a B, but a B in her class is an A in other classes. Do not take her!!

Example of a question she would put on a test: "What was X researcher throwing in a park when he came up with y experiment idea?" She's not available for feedback, I went to her office hours for feedback on a paper and she told me to use google first. Take any other class in the 330 section before you take hers. My only B in a psychology course.

I absolutely love Professor Bui. She is amazing and has a great personality. She wants to see her students succeed and is willing to do whatever it takes. Her office hours are very useful. Stats wasn't an easy nor fun class, but because of Bui it wasn't dreadful at all. She is a great teacher and explains things very effectively.

Dr. Bui is a wonderful person. She makes the topic interesting which is very hard to do, and she's clear and thorough, and she welcomes questions, answers emails fast. But you gotta study hard for tests, and don't blow off the quizzes in every class... i was 2 points from an A-. She's pretty good you just have to work

for the most part a nice lady, will be somewhat rude to you if you miss class. She lectures like you're a baby, but is extremely repetitive so you remember it. Very clear in her explanations with questions. The tests are okay if you study.

She is NOT a good professor. She publicly humiliates her students and writes rude comments on papers. She is not open-minded nor does she seem to appreciate or take into consideration student feedback. She did not give clear or relevant assignments for Psych of Women (don't take this class!)

Dr. Bui is always willing to help you if you have a problem. However, her tests sometimes contained extraneous, random material that she never covered in class and was only in the textbook, which she never once told us to read. Boring class, but, then again, could anyone on earth ever make statistics interesting?

Though this course is hard, if you seek help outside of class and put in the effort, you should get a good grade. She wants to help!! The students who dont like her are the ones who just won't put effort into the class except right before tests. This class is the best class to take to prepare for grad school. Expect to work hard and you'll do well.

She is not the best teacher but not the worst. If you can take someone else for STATS do it but if you can't you will get through it. She is very picky and wants every detail written out which is kinda annoying. She gets confused very easily and get frustrated at students when they dont understan

Very sociable and nice outside of class. Tests are usally hard and require much studying, but after the class, this teacher is an amazing woman and great mentor! She is very passionate and helpful. Recommended to get to know her for letters of recommendation and such!
