Kim is the most amazing professor I've ever had. She really cares about your success, and will do anything to get you to where you need to be. She doesn't like giving low grades, but she will if you don't try. She knows what she's talking about, and really understands how to unlock a student's thinking. Wouldn't want to learn from anyone else!!

Kim is a great professor to have if you are not the best test taker. Instead of having exams on the books, she gives you essays to write. If you complete all of your work she will give you an automatic C. After having completed that, there two additional assignments to complete which will give you a B or an A depending on if you choose to do both.

Kim is a favorite prof of mine. This class was interesting and made you think very critically about teaching reading. I enjoyed this class extremely despite not being the biggest fan of reading. Her grading system is different. Bare minimum C, a project B, and an extra project A. If you have the chance to take her, do it.

This class is set up slightly different than traditionally. To earn an A you have to do everything on the syllabus, plus an extra paper (called a dossier) and a final project of what you got out of the class (but your choice). Seems crazy but really great professor and course. Loved it and her.

Kim really cares about her students and her students success. This class is easy but still makes you think critically about the material you're learning. Her grading system is strange. The more work you do, the higher grade you get. Bare minimum C, doing a specific project gets you a B, and doing another project gets you an A.

Awesome teacher- cares about her students work and encourages everyone to keep trying. Often work in partners or groups. No tests or quizzes. No letter grades on papers- it's distinction of needs revision.

Kim is great, but her grading criteria is not very clear. I passed my final project with only one revision, but most people had multiple revisions and were confused as to what she wanted. I was not really sure what I had done right that they hadn't. Kim is awesome and passionate, though. I am not a teaching major but she made me re-consider.

If I were to say that Dr. McCollum-Clark is a good professor, then I would be lying. She's a great professor! Kim is so nice and down to earth. I mean, what professor allows students to call them by their first name (you'll see what I mean)?!? Class hacks for the A: make sure to fully understand the syllabus, do work on time and seek feedback.

Kim was quite attentive for this class being online. I liked that she was able to change things if the work was too heavy or the students were not receptive. Make sure you pick up some of the prewriting tips she gives, it will be helpful at the end of the course when you submit your final pieces.

Good Teacher. I personally hate writing and in this class you will do a crap load of it. Her grading system sucks though because you never really know what you have. Good thing is you may rewrite your paper til you get the grade you want. Shes very observant of writing pieces and gives good advice. GOOD LUCK.

I personally liked Kim. I did not agree with her grading though. She does not give you a letter grade til the end of the semester. All her papers are given a Distinguished, Accept, or Revisions needed. I found it difficult to get even an Accept on a paper.

Kim is an amazing professor. She makes you do hard work, but she'll let you rewrite papers until you get the grade you want on them. She really helps you to develop as a writer and to break free from your usual rut. She's friendly and understanding and she loves everyone she teaches. My favorite teacher yet at Millersville.
