Professor was OK, week 8 and still no grades/ feedback for week 5-6-7-8 forum posts. It seems she is quite busy, and falling behind on grading forums and assignments. Did well throughout the course and can't complain with a 97.5 average for the course.

I had this professor for Film and Literature. I actually really enjoyed the class, and found her to be very helpful, you just have to ask for the assistance. I had reservations in the beginning, because her first announcement made it seem like an A was impossible to obtain. I could not have been more wrong, as I received nothing but A's.

Professor Jacobs always gives helpful positive feedback. She grades fairly and really makes you feel motivated to continue writing. She works with your late assignments. I would DEFINITELY take a class with her again. She is one of the few good Professors at APUS.

This professor is difficult and directs all instructions from the book, if you don't read the book, you will not know the assignment. Additionally, she grades very hard and expects everything to be perfect!

Very helpful and understanding of situations. Little slow with feedback/comments but understandbily as it is a Literature/English class. Allows extra credit and extra time for situations. Kind of hard to comprehend what she asks for at first, but once you get used to it, the rest is smooth sailing! Great teaching in my eyes!

Professor Jacobs will challenge you in the writing assignments. However, I found the lack of response to emails and discussion boards frustrating - especially when assignments are due regardless of whether or not you understand them.

Professor Jacobs is extremely helpful in helping her students improve their writing. She is very thorough in her grading and feedback in order to help students understand where they are succeeding and where they need improvement. In higher level courses, she will challenge you in your thinking and analytical skills in order to create a great paper.

I hate writing, but Professor Jacobs (which goes by Kim in all emails) was very helpful and VERY UNDERSTANDING to all situations and is willing to help whenever she can. She is currently working on her doctoral from home and still has time for her students!
