Class time is a complete waste of time. Too much emphasis is placed on textbook questions. There is essentially no lecture activity and his power point slides are not on the test. Test questions are picky and are not things you would think would be important. If you're generally an A student, you will drop down to a C- to B- level-like me

Read every word in the textbook! He asks very specific, picky questions about data and theories from the book in the multiple choice sections of his tests. Highlight everything! You need to know it all, not just the gist of things.

His class was fairly easy, 3 tests and a paper. No group projects for marks, but all we ever did in class were group discussions and then discuss the discussions. For each discussion topic he gave us way too much time, so we wasted it gossiping. In the entire semester, we had 1 class in which he taught. He's really nice, but his classes are useles

Larry is a really nice guy but his class is a complete waste of time. If I hadn't had other classes the same day I wouldn't have gone, as it was, I sat in class and did my own notes because his are completly useless. He shares WAY too many personal stories and his tests are hard. 4 tests 20 M/C q's each, very random q's, read the text THOUROUGHLY.

Perhaps the most boring professor I have had the misfortune of having. Reads right off the powerpoint, shares more about his life story than is needed (like we needed to know he got someone pregnant in his first year of university and the only reason he quit drugs was to prove to his son it was possible). No need to attend class. Complete waste.

No participation grade yet he is all about the "case study" group work in class. He is against mandatory retirement (hence why he is still teaching at 69!) but I think he is a lazy teacher. He doesn't lecture, doesn't give feedback and uses scantrons. BORING TEACHER.

Larry is a nice guy but he goes off topic a lot and just like to read his notes from his power point. You basically are teaching yourself in his class. But he's still high on my list since he let me write my final even when i was 2 hours late. Sweet guy for that.

Larry is a nice guy, he really is. But he is inconsistant and he did not stick with the course outline. Instead of 3 m/c and short answer exams, d/t his mistake, he is making us do 2 essay exams (worth more now). He marked very harshly and the class avg was 64%. For the amount he teaches he expects too much. I would reccomend that he retires

Larry is a really sweet professor. Nice guy, however you really don't need to show up for class. If you highlight key textbook points on your own time, and memorize those, i promise you will get an A. He's one of the most easy-going profs :D

Great Proff. I hope he convinces the staff at KUC to keep him on longer and not retire him. He is an assett. I really enjoyed his Aging class. Trust me, if you are lucky man, you will get old one day. This course really prepared me for this fact. I'm young now, but I'll remember this course when I get older. He added a paper worth 25% to his tests!

larry is tottaly willing to help all you have to do is ask. we only had 3 exams and 1 project. he used a slide show presentation for each class and there's alot of notes but the notes from the slides were barely on the tests. you only need to read the chapters from the text to get a good grade most questions on the test are almost word for word fro

I've had him for 3 lower level psych courses so far. Nice guy and easy tests, I don't know why some people are complaining about him; taking him for Aging this fall, hopefully his upper level courses will be as good as his lower level courses.

I don't know how the university can still employ this guy. He doesn't teach. He doesn't prepare a lecture and the students have to teach the class by asking questions from the text. He doesn't even prepare an exam. The questions are straight from the text. You could miss every class and still pass. The class was the most boring, useless class.

This 'teacher' is a joke. Really frustrates me that he's being paid to essentially just sit there, he doesn't have to prepare lectures or anything. I didn't like his classes at all because they lack structure, and I like to be given lectures, and not have to read and learn on my own.

Very funny man! The class was easy, and the multiple choice tests were nice, but difficult if you didn't study. He likes to wear a pin saying stop manditory retirement. He has great, funny, stories to add to what we learn inclass. Awesome course, and great prof.
